Ben Derlan is an artist studying architecture at Yale University. In his work, he aims to explore new models for collective ownership, ecological diversity, and ethical and sustainable construction methods in the built environment.
Previously he has worked with the Neighborhood Design Center and The 6th Branch in Baltimore, MD to increase access to healthy public space through the greening and revitalization of vacant lots. He has previously managed the Oliver Community Farm and supported the Duncan Street Miracle Garden and looks forward to growing food with others again soon.
